Né d’une volonté profonde: celle de rassembler et de créer une communauté vivante autour de la création locale. C’est un espace de rencontres et de dialogues, où la relève côtoie des créateurs d’expérience, et où chaque voix trouve sa place. À travers cet événement, nous souhaitons faire rayonner les ta- lents d’ici, soutenir les créateurs de demain, et offrir une vitrine à la richesse de notre scène artistique et artisanale. Chaque item présenté prend vie dans une mise en scène soi- gnée, pensée pour faire résonner les objets avec l’espace, pour que chacun puisse être découvert, habité, ressenti. Amalgame, c’est l’occasion de tisser des liens, d’éveiller les curiosités, de célébrer le faire ensemble.

Pour cette nouvelle édition, l’installation s’inspire de l’univers d’un atelier d’artiste. Elle met en lumière de jeunes talents récemment diplômés, en leur offrant un espace de réflexion et de dialogue sur leur parcours en design, ainsi que sur la place essentielle que la création et l’art occupent dans leur vie. En complément, AMA a accueilli une conférence animée par Tony Le Moignan de By LeMoignan, qui a réuni Pascau Vandame-Martin de Lambert et Fils et Guillaume Ménard de MRDK. Ensemble, ils ont échangé sur leurs pratiques, leurs inspirations et les défis auxquels ils font face. Restez à l’affût : la conférence complète sera bientôt disponible. Ces initiatives s’inscrivent dans la volonté d’AMA de faire de son espace un lieu vivant, ouvert et accessible, où le design se partage et se célèbre collectivement. The 10,000 sq.ft. office of Travel Brands, located in downtown Montreal, offers a bright, flexible and resolutely contemporary environment. The layout integrates a welcoming reception, collaborative spaces, closed offices, open workstations and a glazed conference room. The design focuses on transparency, the fluidity of spaces and a range of warm materials to create an atmosphere that is both professional and inviting. In collaboration with AMA Atelier Monarque Architecture, we organized a unique event showcasing the creativity of the Montreal scene. The partnership celebrated local talent through a pop-up dedicated to Montreal-based industrial designers such as Sangare, Found, Small Medium Large Studio and Reggyyy. The event, held in conjunction with the Journées de la culture from September 27 to 29, 2024, transformed AMA's new offices at 63 rue de Brésoles into a vibrant and inspiring space.

AMA's recently inaugurated offices, specially designed to foster design and architecture, provided the ideal setting for this pop-up. The public was able to discover the designers' creative processes through guided tours, enriching exchanges with the teams and demonstrations illustrating the key stages of their projects. This initiative also marked the first collaboration between AMA and Ameublement d'intérieur Major, reflecting a shared commitment to promoting local design.

The pop-up was enthusiastically received, particularly by the organizers of the Journées de la culture, who awarded it the title of “coup de chapeau” for its originality and quality. Integrated into the Circuit Architectural de Montréal 2024, the event offered an immersive and enriching cultural experience. The project also received outstanding media coverage, including an article published by Index Design, which highlighted the impact of the initiative: Sangare, Found, Small Medium Large Studio and Reggyyy at AMA. We're proud to have helped showcase Montreal talent in a setting that reflects innovation and design excellence. This pop-up will remain a milestone in our commitment to promote local design and architecture while offering the public a unique and memorable experience.

The Mistplay project, located in downtown Montreal, reflects both technological innovation and the vibrant essence of the metropolis. Founded in 2016, Mistplay quickly distinguished itself as a key player in the field of media for game publishers, ranking among the top five sources for overall return on investment (ROI) and loyalty in 2023, according to Singular's ROI Index. In 2024, the company was recognized as one of Canada's Top 100 Employers, testifying to its commitment to employees and organizational excellence.

Mistplay's new 35,000 sq. ft. headquarters was designed to embody the spirit of collaboration and creativity. The design, by A+ Construction, incorporates a variety of functional spaces: dynamic conference rooms, open workspaces, zones dedicated to concentration, as well as informal collaboration areas. A gaming lounge offers a unique place to relax, while a multifunctional cafeteria is designed to host large-scale events. The environment inspires fluid interaction and optimized productivity. The essence of Montreal is reflected in the design details. Red brick walls recall the city's industrial heritage, while metal structures evoke local icons such as the “Farine Five Roses” sign. The murals, created by Montreal artist whatisadam, add an artistic and local touch, reinforcing the cultural identity of the space. The exclusive brushed red oak flooring, supplied by Trium, brings a natural warmth that balances the dynamism of the industrial materials.

The project was completed on time and on budget, enabling Mistplay to realize its vision of an innovative and welcoming space. Thanks to high-quality products - including adjustable desks and tables from Fellowes Contract, Allermuir chairs and stools, and advanced electrification solutions - employees enjoy optimum comfort. This ambitious project reflects the growth and aspirations of Mistplay, which, while celebrating its Montreal roots, continues to establish itself as a leading figure in the global technology industry.

Founded in the early 1990s, Allied Properties REIT is one of Canada's leading owners and developers of urban office space. With a presence in key cities such as Montreal, Toronto, Calgary, Vancouver, Edmonton and Kitchener, Allied stands out for its ability to design modern, strategic work environments that support the growth of tenant companies. This project, realized in collaboration with BLTA Architecture, highlights a space where design and functionality coexist harmoniously.

The furnishings, supplied by our partner Groupe API, play a central role in creating a professional, warm and collaborative atmosphere. Open-plan workstations are fitted out with ergonomic desks, equipped with dual screens and adjustable seats to guarantee comfort and productivity. Low partitions ensure a perfect balance between collaboration and privacy. Meeting rooms, meanwhile, are elegantly equipped with large natural wood tables and modern chairs, combining aesthetics and functionality. The intelligent arrangement of furniture optimizes interaction while integrating technological elements and touches of greenery for a soothing, inspiring atmosphere.

In the waiting area, high-back lounge chairs by manufacturer Allermuir, designed by PearsonLloyd, add a touch of sophistication and comfort. Elegant yet ergonomic, these seats provide a welcoming setting for visitors and encourage informal exchanges. This project demonstrates Allied Properties REIT's commitment to innovative and sustainable design. Thanks to the talent of BLTA Architecture and the quality furniture supplied by Groupe API, this space redefines the standards of the modern urban office, focusing on the well-being of users and the harmony between design and performance.

Station Fintech Montréal, an innovative 25,000 sq. ft. coworking space in Place Ville Marie, is dedicated to start-ups specializing in financial technologies. Following an ideas competition initiated by Finance Montréal and Ivanhoe Cambridge, the project was entrusted to VAD Designers d'espaces, who designed a modern, high-tech environment conducive to collaboration and innovation, while emphasizing the well-being of occupants.

With 144 workstations, private offices, multi-purpose meeting rooms, a large cafeteria and relaxation areas, the design incorporates noble materials, natural textures and an abundance of light to create a warm, stimulating atmosphere. Designed to meet the principles of WELL certification, the space emphasizes comfort, sustainability and connectivity in a setting conducive to business growth.

The furniture, supplied by Groupe Focus, reinforces the ergonomic and functional character of the spaces, while harmonizing perfectly with the visual identity and objectives of the project. The Fintech Station illustrates a successful synergy between innovative design, functionality and a futuristic vision to support the development of FinTech start-ups.

Founded in Montreal, Blue HF Légal S.E.N.C.R.L. is a law firm specializing in business law, distinguishing itself through its expertise in corporate, transactional and commercial law. Recognized for its expertise in the technology sector, Blue HF Légal offers innovative legal solutions tailored to the specific needs of its clients. This visionary approach is reflected in the design of their offices, created by Brancoli Design, with furniture supplied by Groupe Focus.

The offices feature furniture with organic, modern shapes, contributing to a professional, welcoming atmosphere. The color palette plays a central role in the overall atmosphere: rich, soothing tones, such as deep forest green in the lounge areas, combined with warm touches of mustard yellow and soft sky blue, create the perfect balance between sophistication and creativity. Meeting rooms, clad in vertical wood panels, benefit from abundant natural light, reinforcing a bright and inspiring ambience. Green upholstered chairs and large light-wood tables add a touch of comfort and elegance, ideal for strategic discussions. Relaxation areas and the kitchen are designed to encourage informal collaboration and employee well-being. A light-wood bar, accompanied by contemporary yellow and white seating, adds a refined, convivial touch. Carpets with flowing, organic patterns in the lounge areas add a textural dimension that enhances visual comfort.

The reception area, with its modern furnishings and plant accents, offers a memorable first impression, perfectly reflecting Blue HF Legal's identity: a balance between legal expertise and innovation. Thanks to the collaboration between Brancoli Design and Groupe Focus, these offices embody the future of work in the legal field.

Founded in 1963, GBI is a leading company in the engineering and sustainable development sector. With over 450 employees, GBI offers a full range of services, from engineering and project management to the implementation of intelligent systems. The company aims to design a sustainable world while investing in the professional development of its employees. The GBI Hub reflects this ambitious vision with a work environment designed to foster collaboration and innovation. The spaces were designed by Folio Design, and the furniture was selected from distributor Groupe Focus. Together, they imagined a modern and inspiring setting, in keeping with GBI's values.

The bistro, the heart of the offices, is bathed in natural light thanks to a glass structure. Noble materials and wood finishes create a convivial space where employees can meet and exchange ideas. The lounge areas, embellished with tan Orai leather sofas designed by Studio Mark Gabbertas for Allermuir, offer top-of-the-range comfort and add a touch of elegance to the whole.

Meeting and collaboration spaces are designed to encourage efficiency and creativity. Ergonomic tables, modern chairs and glass partitions define spaces that are both functional and welcoming, enabling confidential discussions while maintaining visual transparency. Mobile whiteboards and modular seating complete the flexibility of the layout, responding to the varied needs of the teams. GBI's new offices embody an innovative and sustainable approach, perfectly aligned with the company's ambitions. Thanks to the collaboration between Folio Design and Groupe Focus, this space offers a working environment where design, well-being and performance come together harmoniously.

Eurovia Québec, a subsidiary of VINCI Construction, has established itself as a key player in the construction of transport infrastructure and urban development. To support their transformation towards a more modern, user-friendly work environment, Issa Studio designed a 15,000 sq. ft. space focused on flexibility, collaboration and aesthetics.

The new offices combine quality materials, clean lines and a soothing color palette, creating an inspiring and professional atmosphere. The main entrance stands out for its minimalist design, featuring elegant furniture and plant elements that infuse a touch of nature. Bright, open-plan workspaces encourage interaction, while glazed meeting rooms provide areas for concentration while maximizing natural light.

The heart of the project lies in the design of a welcoming, functional communal space, featuring a large, modern kitchen with light wood elements and blue accents reminiscent of the company's visual identity. Suspended lighting and comfortable seating enhance the feeling of conviviality, in perfect harmony with the customer's expectations. This exemplary project, carried out in collaboration with A+ Construction and Oburo for furniture distribution, represents a successful transformation for Eurovia Québec, fully meeting their current needs while anticipating their future development.

Demers Beaulne, a well-known accounting and consulting firm, benefited from a major transformation of its workspaces thanks to Conceptum International's innovative vision. This project, awarded at the Grands Prix du Design - 17ᵉ edition, received Bronze certification for its common spaces and Gold certification in the 5,400 to 54,000 square foot office category, highlighting its excellence in interior design. The new offices perfectly embody Demers Beaulne's values of professionalism, collaboration and innovation. The meticulously designed common spaces combine noble materials with modern accents. Plant dividers and natural wood elements add organic warmth and create a soothing environment conducive to employee well-being.

At the heart of the layout, the kitchen stands out for its curved countertop in a deep-brown metallic finish, which captures attention with its elegance and modernity. Black stools adorned with gold accents add a touch of minimalist sophistication, while black metal shelves decorated with plants instill a warm, lively atmosphere. A soft gray ceramic tile wall completes the ensemble with a refined, timeless texture. Subtly integrated lighting enhances these details, creating a convivial, functional ambience.

The workspaces combine open-plan areas and closed meeting rooms, encouraging collaboration while respecting individual needs. The choice of ergonomic, designer furniture, exposed ceilings and sober colors reinforce the harmony between modernity and elegance. This exemplary project positions Demers Beaulne's offices as a benchmark for functional, visionary design, where every detail reflects a commitment to excellence and innovation.

Folio Design's redevelopment of the offices of Dion Notaires inc. reflects a bold architectural transformation in an atypical location: a former bank in Lachine. The redevelopment highlights the firm's core values, such as accessibility and the humanization of legal services, while combining modernity with respect for the building's history.

The interior design is distinguished by aesthetic choices that blend sobriety and character. The curved reception counter in wood and black mosaic creates a sophisticated, warm first impression. The use of arches in the structure emphasizes a classic aesthetic while blending harmoniously with the contemporary environment. Exposed raw concrete on the ceiling dialogues with modern finishes and natural materials, bringing visual richness to the space.

Collaborative and relaxation areas, enhanced by bespoke furniture, are designed to encourage exchanges between customers and professionals. The meeting room, equipped with designer lighting and ergonomic seating, offers a welcoming and functional environment for legal meetings. The kitchen, featuring red tiles contrasting with black elements, is a bold focal point, perfect for convivial moments. This project demonstrates the successful integration of architectural innovation and accessible legal services, positioning Dion Notaires inc. as a model of harmony between tradition and modernity.

A subsidiary of the Astek Group, founded in 1988 and present in 22 countries, Astek Canada is a leader in engineering and technology consulting. Since its establishment in Montreal in 1999, the company has supported customers in a wide range of sectors, including telecommunications, finance, aeronautics and energy, by providing customized solutions that support their success and growth. To reflect its dynamism and commitment to innovation, Astek Canada recently refurbished its offices in collaboration with design firm Folio Design and distributor Groupe Focus, creating a modern, functional and collaborative workspace.

The offices have been designed to encourage employee productivity and well-being. Open-plan areas encourage collaboration with long, light-wood tables, accompanied by ergonomic chairs for comfort and optimal posture. These spaces are enhanced by biophilic touches - including integrated plants - to create a soothing and inspiring atmosphere. The modern kitchen, located at the heart of the offices, features a large counter and designer stools that invite informal breaks and exchanges. Sculptural pendant lighting adds a touch of elegance to this convivial space.

Meeting rooms, whether spacious or more intimate, are furnished with care. Large wooden tables and ergonomic chairs provide a comfortable, professional setting for strategic discussions. Acoustic booths are also integrated to ensure a quiet, secluded environment for confidential calls or meetings. Finally, the reception and lounge areas, with their modern sofas and contemporary armchairs, create a warm and memorable first impression for visitors while offering employees a space in which to relax. Designed by Folio Design and fitted out with Groupe Focus furniture, Astek Canada's offices perfectly embody the company's values of innovation and technological excellence.
